The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) is an accredited 'White Ribbon Workplace'.

DTF promotes a culture of zero tolerance towards violence and is an active supporter of the global White Ribbon movement to stand up and speak out to stop violence against women.

Violence against women is driven by gender inequality and disrespect. It can take many forms:

  • physical abuse
  • sexual assault and harassment
  • verbal abuse
  • emotional abuse
  • financial abuse
  • coercive control.

DTF is proud to have been a White Ribbon accredited workplace since 2016, committed to providing a safe, respectful and gender-equitable working environment for all employees.

DTF acknowledges that women are disproportionally affected by male-perpetrated violence and have partnered with White Ribbon Australia to take active steps to prevent and address violence against women by utilising the White Ribbon standards outlined below.
