The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) is an accredited 'White Ribbon Workplace'.
DTF promotes a culture of zero tolerance towards violence and is an active supporter of the global White Ribbon movement to stand up and speak out to stop violence against women.
Violence against women is driven by gender inequality and disrespect. It can take many forms:
- physical abuse
- sexual assault and harassment
- verbal abuse
- emotional abuse
- financial abuse
- coercive control.
