The $154.2 million Business Growth Fund (BGF) formerly the Economic Recovery Fund, aims to assist business and industry in key areas to grow secure, well paid jobs, improve productivity, deliver efficiencies, increase exports and support innovative, value adding technologies in South Australia.
The Government will hold a series of funding rounds targeting specific sectors and key government objectives.
Funding applications are required to be made in accordance with the BGF Guidelines, together with the guidelines to be published for each specific funding round.
Powering Business Grants
The Powering Business Grants support eligible South Australian small and medium businesses and not-for-profit organisations to invest in energy efficient equipment or improvements to reduce and manage energy use and costs.
Businesses can apply for a grant ranging from $2,500 to $75,000, subject to meeting eligibility requirements.
$20 million has been allocated to support up to 8,000 eligible small businesses and not-for-profit organisations to invest in energy efficient equipment or other improvements to reduce and manage their energy usage and costs.
Grants ranging from $2,500 to a maximum of $50,000, with a matching contribution by the applicant, are available on a first-come, first-served basis until the funding allocation has been exhausted or by 29 November 2024 (whichever occurs sooner).
