About Public Sector Superannuation

Super SA is a branch of the Department of Treasury and Finance, responsible for administering a range of superannuation schemes for South Australian public sector workers. It operates under the guidance of its own Boards, which oversee the following schemes:

  • Triple S – the default scheme for SA government employees since 1995
  • Super SA Select
  • Lump Sum Scheme
  • Pension Scheme
  • Super SA Flexible Rollover Product
  • Super SA Income Stream
  • SA Ambulance Service Superannuation Scheme.

These schemes are governed by the South Australian Superannuation Board and the Super SA Select Board, in line with relevant legislation. Super SA manages the day-to-day administration, helping members understand their options, grow their super, and prepare for retirement.

SA Ambulance Service Superannuation (SAAMB) Scheme

The SAAMB Scheme is a defined benefit scheme which is closed to new members. You are only a member if you started working with the SA Ambulance Service before 1 July 2008.
