Our Strategic Procurement team manages a range of whole-of-government contracts for goods and services on behalf of all South Australian government departments.

The team manages an annual spend of $650 million dollars and delivers savings to the value of $65 million, through centralised processes and efficiencies.

In line with the State Procurement Board’s policies and guidelines, they ensure the principles of transparency, accountability and fairness are met in the expenditure of public money.

Strategic Procurement have the ability to affect great social and environmental change in negotiating the terms of government contracts, such as stipulating diversity in HR requirements, White Ribbon accreditation clauses, or the recycling of goods at the end of their lifecycle.

Open tenders and contracts are listed on the SA Tenders and Contracts website.
