2011-12 Drinking Water and Sewerage Price Decision in South Australia
On 11 May 2011 the Treasurer and the Minister for Water released the water and sewerage prices and rates to apply to SA Water services in 2011-12.
On the same day, the Government released the 2011-12 Drinking Water and Sewerage Prices Regulatory Statement. The Regulatory Statement provides background information on:
- the national context for the pricing decision
- the pricing decision and the price structure
- changes to concession arrangements
- customer impacts
- regulatory outcomes.
2010-11 Water and Sewerage Prices in South Australia
The 2010-11 Transparency Statement for Potable Water and Sewerage Prices in South Australia provides information on the setting of 2010-11 urban water and sewerage prices in South Australia. The statement is made up of the three separate documents known as Part A, B and C.
On 9 June 2010, the Treasurer referred the 2010-11 Transparency Statement (Part A) to the Essential Services Commission of South Australia (ESCOSA) for the inquiry into its 2010-11 water and sewerage pricing process.
On 26 October 2010, ESCOSA provided its Final Report into the Inquiry (Part B). On 25 November 2010 the Government tabled the Government Response (Part C) to ESCOSA's Final Inquiry Report.
